The HHBCA primarily exists to promote rowing in both Hampton and Lady Eleanor Holles Schools, through organising fund-raising and social events. We also endeavour to provide practical and helpful information to parents on rowing and events, as well as being a mutual support network for parents in the long hours spent on the riverbank.

Throughout the year, we run a number of fund-raising events (click here for diary) including Quiz Nights, Parents' Sponsored Row, summer BBQ and the Annual Dinner, which are traditionally well attended and enjoyed by rowers, coaches and parents alike. In addition we are renowned for supplying wonderful home made cakes and other refreshments for the Hampton Small Boats and the 4s and 8s Heads, feeding around 500 to 1,000 rowers respectively.

The HHBCA, through the hard work of volunteer parents from both schools, runs a thriving ‘tuck shop’ on Saturday mornings in the boat house, providing breakfasts and snacks to all the rowers.

The boat clubs are fortunate to be able to row from our imposing club house, which provides excellent facilities and access to the river.

Your help in assisting in any of the events, however small, is always welcome.
